- Provide administrative support for the sales and production control teams
- Conduct sales contract reviews on orders
- Input sales data into the Access System and Sales Enquiry System
- Maintain an up-to-date filing system
- Administer export compliance documentation
- Communicate professionally and effectively with suppliers regarding the price and availability of materials
- Raise material purchase orders and expedite materials when necessary
- Issue work orders to production
- Perform general office duties such as faxing, photocopying, and handling post
- Provide administrative cover for other departments as required
- Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Organizational and planning abilities

- Educated to degree level
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of metals and the forging environment
