Rocialle Healthcare, based in Moutain Ash, South Wales have been a leading supplier of medical consumables for over 40 years.We areseeking a field basedTerritory Associateto join our sales team due to an exciting period of growth. Our new to market, clinically effective wound care range aim to deliver optimal patient care without increasing cost pressures within trusts. This new unit within the business, is earmarked for rapid sales growth over the coming years and forms a key part of our 5-year growth plan.

The Territory Associate will be working within Primary, Secondary and Community Care, and will be responsible and accountable for sales delivery in a defined geography, coordinating all Rocialle interactions with any given account, while developing and implementing account plans for a varied product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise stakeholder meetings to demonstrate the unique benefits of the Rocialle Wound Care portfolio.
  • Attend local study days, educational events and exhibitions.
  • Support at National Events within the UK as required.
  • Present the portfolio to large groups of clinicians.
  • Working with the Business Development Manager to utilise NHS objectives to create and implement business plans per account to drive wound care sales.
  • Winning new formulary listings
  • Develop current business growth opportunities within the community and acute settings in line with sales targets and objectives.
  • Developing relationships and building up a rapport with specialist nurses, practice nurses and procurement at all levels.
  • Accelerating profitable sales growth within the wound care division, identifying key brands and focus accounts, utilising appropriate data.
  • Identifying key trends in the local and national payor/prescriber environment across treatment settings (not just within the Trust) and pro-actively identifying and driving appropriate business opportunities, whilst adapting local strategy/tactics accordingly.
  • Gather customer, competitor, formulary, framework and wider NHS intelligence considering and verbalising potential business impact.
  • Complying with all internal and external codes of conduct, including GDPR and all regulatory bodies.
  • Regularly maintaining and updating CRM system.
  • Prepared to travel up to 4 days per week within defined territory with occasional requirement to attend meetings at Head Office (Mountain Ash, Wales) and National Conferences.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Suitable for a proactive, goal orientated self-starter who is looking to develop a career in medical sales.

Education & Experience:

  • Candidates will be degree educated and ideally have a life science or business degree
  • Ideally, some sales experience as a minimum they must have worked in a commercial position to date (perhaps supporting themselves while studying)
  • Alternatively, they could have some clinical focus Physiotherapy etc and be looking to move into sales.
  • Applicant will be smart in appearance, personable, and demonstrate commercial acumen
  • 12 months field sales experience (preferable)
  • Medical Sales experience (preferable)
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach (essential)
  • Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships (essential)
  • Experience in utilising Microsoft office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint (essential)
