About the Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected consultancy that specialises in building surveying, project management, and architecture. Our client is experiencing significant growth and is looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor with strong project management expertise to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a pivotal role in delivering a variety of construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from feasibility studies to completion.
  • Overseeing procurement processes, contractor selection, and contract administration.
  • Leading project teams, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
  • Conducting site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
  • Advising clients on construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating with consultants and contractors.
  • Identifying and resolving project-related challenges proactively.
  • Mentoring junior surveyors and providing project management training and guidance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Chartered status (MRICS or FRICS) or working towards accreditation.
  • Extensive experience in building surveying with a strong emphasis on project management.
  • Proven track record of managing complex construction and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and project methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
