My client based in Sheffield is seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent position.
The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of operating CNC machinery and experience in boring and product preparation.
Key responsibilities include operating various tools, collecting data, conducting visual inspections, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
The salary for this role ranges from £27,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, with a 40-hour work week across a 2 shift pattern.

My client based in Sheffield is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate for the role would have some knowledge of operating CNC machinery, and be able to support in the boring and preparation of products on site.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Operating Saws, Drills and various hand tools
Collect data and record measurements before and after boring
Visual inspections throughout manufacturing process
On/off loading from racks and storage using overhead cranes
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of quality control, making adjustments where required
Familiarity with modern management techniques such as TPM and 5s
Adhering to strict health and safety rules at all times

Salary: £27-£32k depending on experience

Hours: 40hrs per week, operating across a 2 shift pattern
