Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a Sheffield-based manufacturer specializing in forged rings for the aerospace and power generation industries.
The position requires candidates to have a CNC machining qualification or equivalent time-served experience, with a specific focus on machining steels, nickels, and titanium.
Working hours include alternating weekly shifts with morning hours from Monday to Friday and afternoon hours from Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role is £14.07 per hour, with additional weekly shift allowances of £28.14 for mornings and £56.28 for afternoons, plus a weekly cost of living bonus.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, along with benefits including 34 days of annual leave and life insurance.

Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled shop floor team are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a progressive Sheffield-based manufacturer (S9), supplying forged rings to aerospace and power generation industries.

Working Hours: alternating weekly shifts Mornings: Monday- Thursday: 05:00 – 12:30 Friday: 05:00– 12:00 Afters – Monday- Thursday 12:00– 19:00 Friday: 11:30 – 18:30

Salary: Mornings: £14.07 p/h + £28.14 weekly shift allowance. Afters: £14.07 p/h + £56.28 weekly shift allowance (plus weekly cost of living bonus)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Setting and operating multiple CNC machines
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Setting cutting speeds and tolerance levels
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes and adjusting and reprogramming controls.
Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Knowledge of conventional machining

Skills and Experience

CNC Machining qualification or time served experience.
Experience in machining steels, nickels, and titanium.
Communication skills
The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team.
