Salary: Up to 16p/h

Metalis are working with a Sheffield-based client who are looking to add a CNC Machinist who has experience in general machining principles. The successful candidate will be hired on a permanent basis.


The Role:

• Operating CNC Lathes and CNC Grinders
• Surfacing grinding duties,
• Using measuring equipment micrometers Vernier's etc
• Look after all tooling and machinery and maintain as advised.
• Check measurement equipment used is within calibration and of good working order
• Follow and work to engineering drawings

The Person:

• Willing to develop onto CMM and optical measuring equipment
• NVQ level 3 (Apprenticeship in Engineering)
• To be able to operate at a high level of precision and competence
• Full UK Driving Licence

The Details:

• Up to 16.21p.h
• Days only but must be flexible to do afternoons when needed (Shift allowance given on this)
