Elevation Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading Oil & Gas manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a CNC Borer Machinist.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for machining high-quality components to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture components from engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with company quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment through high housekeeping standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings to produce components within required tolerances and production times.
- Machine high-grade materials, including Inconel 718.
- Minimum 2 years of machining experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience operating CNC Horizontal & Vertical Borers and Machining Centres.
- Strong knowledge of tooling applications, machine tool capabilities, feed rates, and speeds for efficient cycle times.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Good communication skills.
