Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are currently working partnership with an Engineering business that specialise in the manufacture of ground drilling equipment.

Due to expansion, they are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team in Sheffield. CNC Miller Working Hours:  38 hours per week The successful CNC Miller must be flexible to work the following shift pattern:

Monday to Friday – Days Only Hourly Rate:  £16.00 - £17.85 p/h

Salary: £31,616 - £33,592 Overtime: Paid at time and ½. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Miller:

  • The successful candidate will have experience with Heidenhain control and Fanuc control, as well as CNC Milling and programming directly onto the machines.
  • Operate and program CNC milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls, to produce parts according to customer specifications.
  • Setting up the machines, selecting tools and materials, reading engineering drawings/specifications, writing programs from scratch or editing existing programs when necessary
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently and accurately while maintaining production schedules. They should also be comfortable troubleshooting any problems that arise during production runs.
