Elevation Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a precision machining company in Sheffield for a CNC Turner to join their growing team.

Location: SheffieldSalary: £32,480Shift Pattern: Mornings & Afternoons (with an early finish on Fridays during the afternoon shift)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Okuma and Mazak Lathes
  • Update tool wear offsets, load programs, and perform basic setups
  • Machine exotic materials
  • Work to tight tolerances
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Adhere to fine tolerances within a 6S environment
  • Follow production schedules to meet output targets
  • Conduct planned health and safety checks on equipment
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping
Requirements:
  • Experience with CNC Turning machines 
  • Previous experience machining small to medium components
  • Ability to follow and maintain all necessary documentation
  • Experience working to fine tolerances in a 6S environment
  • Familiarity with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls is desirable
  • Experience with exotic alloys is preferred but not essential
