A skilled and passionate Internal Sales Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience is needed to join our CMC Division (CNC Machining & Cladding) at Panel Systems, a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of bespoke panel & insulation products based in Sheffield S26, on a full-time basis.

Established in 1974, Panel Systems is a manufacturer supplying a wide range of market sectors, including construction, leisure, automotive, caravans, and modular buildings. The company comprises three trading divisions employing 65 people and has a combined annual turnover exceeding £13m.

Based at our Waleswood site, the CMC division is responsible for CNC machining decorative laminates, sheet materials and cladding.

The markets we supply include lockers and washrooms, construction, exterior furniture, playground equipment, automotive, health, and industrial solutions. We also supply cut-to-size cladding products for building facades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing estimates and quotations, which often involve customer drawings
  • Processing customer sales orders
  • Answering telephone enquiries from customers
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and technical support
  • Managing existing customer relationships
  • Helping to develop new business with potential customers
  • Following up on the progress of key quotations
  • Following up on leads and opportunities generated by the company's website
  • Providing technical assistance to help customers determine the correct product specification for their requirements and application
  • Close liaison with fellow colleagues in sales and production

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Previous experience working with dimensions – particularly with building materials would be incredibly beneficial, but not essential
  • Previous experience working with technical product information and drawings would be beneficial, but not essential.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to handle workload, especially during busy times.
  • MS Office suite
  • Good numeracy
  • Good organisation skills
  • Proactive approach to sales opportunities
