A skilled and passionate Internal Sales Executive with at least 2 years of sales experience is needed to join our FFD Division (Foam Fabrication & Distribution) at Panel Systems, a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of bespoke panel & insulation products based in Sheffield, on a full-time basis.

Established in 1974, Panel Systems is a manufacturer supplying a wide range of market sectors, including construction, leisure, automotive, caravans, and modular buildings. The company comprises three trading divisions employing 65 people and has a combined annual turnover exceeding £13m.

Based at our Waleswood site, the FFD division is one of Europe's largest fabricators of hot-wire cut XPS Insulation. It provides a comprehensive cutting and CNC fabrication service for many industries, including caravans, PVC doors, underfloor heating, and vehicle bodies. The division also distributes building insulation products and a polypropylene honeycomb panel as a lightweight structural core.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer sales orders
  • Preparing quotations
  • Maintaining price lists and customer price templates.
  • Handling day-to-day customer enquiries via phone & email
  • Provide non-standard quotes for bespoke items, which may include interpreting customer drawings for bespoke CNC machined parts
  • Following up existing quotations
  • Providing technical assistance and information to contractors and end users
  • Recognising new opportunities and consulting with the Sales Product Manager
  • Responding to enquiries received via the company’s website contact forms
  • Assisting the Sales Product Manager with enquiries and sales related tasks and market research

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Previous experience working with dimensions – particularly with building materials would be incredibly beneficial, but not essential
  • Previous experience working with technical product information and drawings would be beneficial, but not essential

Required Skills:

  • Ability to handle workload, especially during busy times.
  • MS Office suite
  • Good numeracy
  • Good organisation skills
  • Proactive approach to sales opportunities
