Role

As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will work under the guidance of senior surveyors, providing essential support on a variety of projects. This role will give you a strong foundation in building surveying services, including condition surveys, project management, contract administration, and dilapidations, and will offer a structured pathway to professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out building surveys, condition assessments, and site inspections
• Assist in preparing detailed reports, specifications, and schedules
• Support project management and contract administration tasks
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Stay up-to-date with building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practice

Person

• Qualifications: A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Ambition: Strong motivation to pursue RICS Chartered status
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Location: Ideally based in or near Sheffield, or willing to relocate
