£26,000 - Starting Salary

£27,500 - After three months

£29,000 - After six month

• Annual reviews based on performance and cost-of-living adjustments

• Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (Some flexibility available)

Essential To Apply

• HNC or equivalent qualification in a building or construction-related subject.
• Basic construction knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and basic IT tools.
• Strong communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
• Driving licence.

Desirable:

• Degree in construction, architectural, structural, or civil engineering.
• Experience in a construction-related design office (not essential, as training is provided).
• Proficiency in software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Project management skills.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

• Manage customer orders from technical inquiries to delivery and payment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to request information, address issues, and update them on key events.
• Attend site meetings to gather design/program details or resolve issues.
• Maintain high-quality project files and documentation.
• Conduct necessary calculations and produce clear, professional designs and drawings for approval.
• Coordinate approvals and customer instructions for manufacturing.
• Prepare accurate manufacturing drawings and schedules.
• Address manufacturing and delivery issues, updating customers as needed.
• Resolve credit queries in coordination with accounts and customers.

Managing Resources

• Allocate resources efficiently to ensure quality and productivity.
• Assess task priorities and collaborate with the Team and Project Managers.
• Train and support team members.
• Communicate project, customer, and team updates to management, reporting service or quality concerns promptly.

Flexibility

• Adapt skills and knowledge to support the business as needed.
• Perform additional duties when trained and capable to benefit the business.

Health & Safety

• Comply with all Health & Safety laws, policies, and procedures.
• Follow site safety rules, safe work practices, and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
