Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established telecoms company based in Sheffield who are searching for a Project Coordinator to join their team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth project operations and supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) team with various administrative, financial, and logistical tasks. 

Key Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and the PMO team to support project delivery.
  • Assist in project governance, including structure, processes, procedures, and performance objectives.
  • Monitor and manage project permits and notices, ensuring compliance throughout all stages.
  • Attend PMO team meetings and document action items.
  • Ensure effective management of project schedules and business processes to meet KPIs.
  • Contribute to planning and scheduling work on a weekly basis.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide support on other projects as needed and manage any overlaps between finance and project tasks.
  • Assist with bid documentation and project proposals.

Required Skills & Experience of the Project Coordinator:

  • Knowledge of industry accreditations such as ISO 9001, 45001, SAFE/CHAS preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and manage time.
  • Experience in project coordination.
