A leading Tier 1 supplier to Network Rail with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects. Due to continued growth and contract wins, we are looking for multiple experienced Project Management professionals to manage and deliver civil engineering projects across the rail sector.
Project Manager Roles Available:
We have multiple opportunities for experienced Rail Infrastructure Project Managers, each focused on managing Network Rail-related contracts, ensuring the successful delivery of projects to performance criteria and stringent KPIs. These roles require strong leadership, technical knowledge, and commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Be responsible for the management of rail related projects, ensuring that all projects are co-ordinated and meet performance criteria
- Maintain and develop client relationships
- Oversee planning and resourcing of work banks to align with project turnover targets and operational requirements.
- Liaise with project teams, commercial teams, and designers to review estimates, box plans, and final accounts while tracking contractual progress.
- Provide technical guidance and support to delivery teams to ensure successful execution of both temporary and permanent works.
- Ensure site teams comply with commercial reporting, quality assurance, and safety requirements, driving efficiency across the framework.
- Maintain and manage client databases and documentation, ensuring up-to-date tracking of project progress, extensions of time (EOTs), and compensation events.
- Lead site audits, ensure robust programme management, and coordinate access consents, possession submissions, and traffic management.
- Any other duties as required
Experience & Personal Qualities:
- Experience in Civil Engineering Construction, ideally in a railway environment.
- Strong understanding of small to mid-range project delivery (£50k - £600k).
- Demonstrable experience in client management, commercial management (NEC 4 contracts preferred), and programme management.
- Proven track record in leading and managing site teams effectively.
