Are you looking to further your career? We are recruiting for a Junior HR Business Partner.

This role will would be a fantastic development opportunity for those wanting to progress in their HR career or a step into a HR Business Partnering role! Working closely with the wider UK HR team you will provide strong internal customer support, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for the legal and internal governance compliance framework ensuring it is enacted through all site transactional activities.

What your impact will be:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers, working with them to develop HR solutions for people-related business challenges, leveraging other partners in HR where needed.
  • Ensure adherence with all compliance standards and internal policy and procedures.
  • Use of HR systems (e.g. PeoplePoint) in compliance with business processes and SOX standards.
  • Support the SeniorHRBP and site HRBP with ad-hoc projects.
  • Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including absence management, talent acquisition and Employee relations, Employee engagement, Diversity and Inclusion plans, performance management (PDP and PIP) plus HIPO identification.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance to internal policies and procedures.
  • Delivery of site KPIs including staff turnover rates, absence rates, headcount people planning.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience in advising and supporting line managers.
  • Experience in HR administration and system navigation.
  • Ideally experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment.
  • Experience partnering with line managers and middle managers, and handling employee relations issues within this environment.
  • Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of Human Resources, including: employment law, employee relations, compliance management in a large organization, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, absence management, organizational planning, leadership development, coaching, training, engagement and building trust.
  • CiPD level 3 professional qualification.
