Are you a skilled legal professional with experience in debt recovery and defended claims? We are working with a well-established organisation in the financial and legal sector, currently seeking aSolicitor or Chartered Legal Executiveto join their growing team in Sheffield.

The Role:

As part of this dynamic legal team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing adefended caseloadthrough a case management system.
• Assessinghigh-value or complexpre-legal debts for potential legal action.
• Draftingpleadings, witness statements, and court bundlesfor small claims, fast track, and multi-track cases.
• Advising clients onlegal matters, recovery prospects, and dispute resolution strategies.
• Collaborating withcourts, enforcement agencies, and other suppliersto ensure a high standard of service.
• Handlinginsolvency actionssuch as bankruptcy and winding-up petitions.
• Managingreturn of goods claimsand other related legal proceedings.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Alaw degree(or equivalent legal qualifications) and be aqualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Experience in handling adefended caseload on the Small Claims Track(preferred).
• StrongIT skillsand the ability to adapt to new systems.
• Excellentproblem-solving skillsand a solution-focused approach.
• Confidence inmaking and receiving telephone callsto liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
• Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
• The ability towork towards targetsand earn performance-based bonuses.

Location & Working Hours:

Sheffield Office-Based(Hybrid potential after 6 months)
Full-Time, Permanent 37.5 hours/week (Monday Friday)
