Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a global firm in the heart of Sheffield. This business are operating in 40+ countries and well over 50 offices worldwide. Due to expansion, they're looking for an experienced Credit Control to join the team and chase debt for overdue invoices. In an ideal world, you will be an experienced Credit Controller who isn't afraid to get on the phone and recover the debt.

My client offer fantastic flexibility and are currently working 4 days at home and one day in the office.

What will you be doing?

  • Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms to minimise bad debt.
  • Handling of all interactions received into Credit Control ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level.
  • Looking for process improvement opportunities.
  • Working to daily targets set by the Team Leader.
  • Working with individual and business overdue debt reduction targets and cash collection.
  • Working on customer disputes to help minimise outstanding debt and escalate to the appropriate business owners.
  • Creating and categorising outbound service requests.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Experience in Credit Control.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to hit targets and KPIs.
