Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Sheffield-based foundry to recruit a Post Cast Production Manager.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + bonus + profit shares

Hours: Monday – Thursday 6am – 3pm, Friday 6am – 12pm

The foundry carries out roughly 1000 castings per month, and the Post Cast Production Manager will be responsible for managing post-cast production activity which includes Heat treatment, NDT, fettling and inspection.

Duties of the Post Cast Production Manager include:

Effectively plan and manage all aspects of post cast processing
Work alongside the Production Controller to manage monthly production, ensuring production targets are met
Ensures a safe and efficient working environment
Assist with workflow prioritisation
Ensure KPIS are met including Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People

We are looking for experienced Post Cast Production Managers with the below skills:

Experience of foundries, ideally welding, fettling, NDT of castings finishing process
Knowledge of machining, ideally experienced in the machining of castings
Experience leading teams in a busy fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of steel casting production processes
