- Take ownership of gameplay features, managing end-to-end implementation.
- Design engaging mechanics and systems to keep players immersed.
- Build and refine prototypes using Unreal Engine 5’s blueprint system.
- Collaborate with the game director and team members to align designs with the overarching vision.
- Analyze player feedback and make adjustments to improve game quality.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date design documentation.
- Partner with programmers, artists, and other designers to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Mentor colleagues to support their professional and technical development.
- Identify risks early and propose effective solutions to ensure smooth delivery. Â
- 5+ years of game design experience, with at least one shipped title (for PC or console).
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and the Blueprints system.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics and player engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
