AML Risk & Compliance Analyst 12 month FTC - Maternity CoverSheffield-basedWe're currently working with one of the UKs leading law firms with over 70 offices across 40 different countries they are currently looking to give someone the opportunity to take their first step into compliance with a 12 month FTC role.They're looking for someone to work in their risk and compliance team on a maternity cover contract, during this period the team will give you the opportunity to get involved in training, development and support to dive into a compliance focused vacancy.You will;
  • Conduct CDD on new and existing clients from AML, Sanctions, Reputational risk
  • Undrtake client and matter risk assessments, on a global scale
  • Administer company searches on all new client engagement inclluding, PEPs, Sanctions, and Adverse Media Checks
  • Handle enquiries from fee earners, clients and partners.
Successful candidate will have experience working in a law firm, you will have gained some exposure conducting compliance checks, including AML. Ideally a legal assistant or legal secretary looking to make a move into a compliance career.What's in it for you?
