Description
As CAD/ CAM Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- 3D modelling of customer components and producing 2D drawings from the models, using Unigraphics.
- Producing both turning and milling programmes using Unigraphics.
- In house development work including designing.
- Produce step by step routing of components through the Machine Shops to optimise production.
- Taking a methodical approach in identifying and monitoring risks on process changes
Profile
A successful CAD/ CAM Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of 44,000 rising to 49,000 per annum, once commencement of afternoon shift pattern.
- 37.5 hours per week, days initially then moving to a 2-shift system - Mornings and afternoons after successfully completing induction
