GSL Education are looking for a Drama Teacher across client schools located in Sheffield, starting ASAP

Are you a passionate and creative Drama Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds? A fantastic school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join their vibrant team. If you have a love for teaching and the arts, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Drama Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Drama lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Encourage students to explore their creativity and express themselves through performance.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student performance, helping them to improve their skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
  • Participate in school activities, including drama productions and extra-curricular clubs.

As a Drama Teacher, essential requirements include the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Drama Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A passion for drama and a commitment to inspiring students through the arts.
  • Flexibility to work part time or full time, as required by the school.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to have one processed immediately.
