Our friendly and welcoming primary school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support our mixed Year 1/2 class. This part-time role involves a job share with an established teacher and will run from 6th January until July 2025.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) is mandatory.
  • The position is best suited for a teacher with prior experience, as it is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the co-teacher and contribute positively to the school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the mixed Year 1/2 class.
  • Support the learning and development of pupils through one-on-one and group activities.
