We are excited to welcome a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to our team who will work closely with our experienced educators in an FS2 class during a maternity cover assignment.

The Role:As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to our FS2 pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Assisting with the daily routines and well being of the children.
  • Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Contributing to the school culture by getting fully involved in school life and extra-curricular activities.
  • Gradually taking on more responsibilities to transition into a full teaching role as you grow with the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in EYFS: You should have hands-on experience supporting Early Years Foundation Stage settings.
  • QTS for EYFS: Qualified Teacher Status specific to EYFS is essential.
  • ECT Induction Support: We are happy to accommodate any remaining terms of your Early Career Teacher induction.
