About the Role:

Join a dynamic team at a primary school Sheffield as a Teaching Assistant, where you'll support mainstream and SEN children in a Year 5 class. This long-term role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the child's educational journey, providing tailored support and fostering an environment conducive to their growth and development. Starting off as a long term temporary role until July 2025, the role then be extended or lead into a permanent job opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised support children in Year 5 (mainstream and SEN).
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement and adapt learning materials.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary aged children with SEN is essential.
