We are seeking an Ecologist to join a prestigious engineering and environmental design consultancy in Sheffield.
The salary for this position ranges from £28,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience in the entire biodiversity net gain process and protected species surveys.
The role involves conducting Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and completing biodiversity net gain metrics across various sites in the UK.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) is also required for applicants.

Ecologist

The role involves;

Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals on a variety of sites across the UK.
Completing biodiversity net gain metrics.
Undertaking protected species surveys on a variety of sites across the UK.

Requirements;

Experience of the whole biodiversity net gain process.
Protected Species Survey experience across a variety of sites and species.
Report writing for Ecological Consultancy.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
