Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Technician you will be part of a multi-disciplined diagnostic team responding to breakdowns & completing planned maintenance working 12hr days. You will support the departments Shift Management team (Production and Engineering) to ensure Safety, Quality and Production Plans are all met.

The Role:

• Report to the Team Leader Engineering on all matters regarding the maintenance and operation of all plant and equipment.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance activities on all aspects of plant and equipment on site.
• Deputise for Team Leader

Requirements

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
• Knowledge and experience of industrial systems such as:
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Pumps, drives and gearboxes
  • Heavy machinery
  • Water cooling systems
  • Material handling systems
  • Dust extraction systems
  • Robotics and PLCs
  • Vacuum Systems
  • AC & DC circuits

The Working Pattern of the Electrical Technician is12-hour Day shifts.
