TWC Recruitment are looking to appoint an Electrical Projects Engineer for a global leading Manufacturing organisation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountability for all electrical, electronic, pneumatic and process control work (planned / breakdown) occurring on the plant.
- Working on industrial plant and equipment including 3 phase systems.
- Work as part of a multifunctional maintenance team on shifts.
- Liaising with Shift Engineers to prioritise the workload.
- Jointly planning the shift to maximise the plant priorities.
- Assist and support the PM and continuous improvement activities when necessary.
- Responding to 1st line maintenance requirements, performing hands-on maintenance to deal with the task safely and effectively.
- Ensuring the appropriate use of CMMS (Agility) throughout the shift operations.
- Creating appropriate engineering reports and providing sound justification for their shift.
- Managing electrical engineering activities on their shift to comply with all internal and external health, safety, and environmental requirements. Including the plant permit to work system.
- Electrical installation work and plant commissioning.
- Coaching and developing of other employees (apprentices).
- Any reasonable management request.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Driven to work in a demanding and challenging environment.
- Educated to an HNC level or have proven electrical experience in a heavy engineering environment.
- Be able to demonstrate an awareness of Heavy Engineering.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of practical Electrical hands-on skills.
- Able to coach and develop other employees.
- A good communicator, both verbal & written.
- Able to demonstrate problem-solving abilities and prioritise work schedule.
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the health and safety and environmental policies and plans.
40 Hours per week,12 Hours Shifts,Days and Nights (6 -6),4 on 4 off
