Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a bespoke manufacturing company looking to recruit a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Sheffield with immediate effect.
- Salary: £40,000
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.15am - 4.30pm
- Holidays: 33 days annual leave

Supporting the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maximising efficiency, minimise unplanned stoppages, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Other responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer include:
- Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
- Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown situations
- Identify any spare part requirements, and initiate their procurement through the requisition process, providing technical specifications and manufacturer/supplier details
- Undertake safety improvement work raised by the Hazard Risk reporting procedure. Strive to eliminate risk through plant improvement and better working practices
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site
- Maintaining mechanical and electrical tools and equipment including presses, welders, and riveting
- Assist in maintaining the quality control aspects of certification and production program schedules
- Interface with and support other departments in developing continual improvement
We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineer with the following:
- Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
- Time served experience within a manufacturing environment
- Team player attitude
- Experience in the use of a planned preventive maintenance system
- Ideally have worked within a medium to heavy manufacturing environment previously
