Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturing company looking to recruit a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Sheffield with immediate effect.

Salary - £44,985

Location- Sheffield

Hours- Days- 6.30am till 3pm with 12pm finish on Friday, and Afters -Monday to Thursday 11am till 8.45pm on rotation

Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer include; 

  • Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
  • Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown situations 
  • Identify any spare part requirements, and initiate their procurement through the requisition process, providing technical specifications and manufacturer/supplier details
  • Undertake safety improvement work raised by the Hazard Risk reporting procedure. Strive to eliminate risk through plant improvement and better working practices.
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems 
  • Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of available equipment, particularly associated with the refractory industry
  • Assist in maintaining the quality control aspects of certification and production program schedules
  • Interface with and support other departments in developing continual improvement

We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineer with the following:

  • Electrical Maintenance Qualification- NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds as a minimum
  • Time served experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Team player attitude
  • Experience in the use of a planned preventive maintenance system
  • Ideally have worked within a medium to heavy manufacturing environment previously
