Elevation have the pleasure of working with a leading manufacturing company based in the Sheffield area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team due to relocating to the Rotherham area/ expanding the team.

Salary: up to £45,000 dependant on experience

Location: Sheffield/ Rotherham

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am- 4pm

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Working on CNC machines, CNC Grinding machines, lathes, saws, millers
  • Implementing and create PPM’s on a daily basis
  • Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
  • Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
  • Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding
  • Working on PLC’s and robots - fault finding and rectification
  • Ensuring daily, weekly ad annual servicing is complete
  • Rebuild key CNC machinery as and when needed
  • Assist with machine installations
  • Providing support and training for operators and apprentices
  • In absence of manager plan no work schedules
  • Working with other departments working to continuous improvement to ensure the business is the best it can be

Desired experience:

  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have 3 years experience within in a Electrical maintenance position recently
  • Ideally have experience with CNC machines, PLC’s, robots and automation
  • Ideally have experience with similar machinery previously
  • Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
  • Must be IT literate
  • Ideally have 18th edition
  • Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
