Electrical Section Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Sheffield to recruit a Electrical Section Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. Salary: up to £45,000 Days role Monday – Friday

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Section Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will ensure electrical engineering management and standards are maintained. Develop and modernisation of the plant to ensure availability, reliability and performance targets are met.Duties of the Electrical Section Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will include: 

• Planning and co-ordinating electrical engineering operations during plant shutdowns inclusive of major maintenance activities.
• Contributing to annual and progressive plans for electrical maintenance budget control.
• The design, development, and maintenance of electrical equipment to improve plant operation and reliability.
• Lead fault investigations for repeatable delays and failures and define engineering solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for all failures, use in-depth knowledge to solve difficult engineering failures.
• Negotiating and managing key mechanical maintenance contracts.
• Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.
• Development of plant to improve performance and reliability.
• Providing the necessary documentation to cover all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Control inclusive of Permit Systems, Safe Working Procedures, Isolation/Immobilisation and Environmental Management Systems etc.
• Providing a second-line maintenance service for plant breakdowns.
