Role Overview:
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded systems, including software, firmware, and hardware components. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance existing products and processes continuously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop future platforms to maintain a stable product portfolio.
- Test and debug embedded systems.
- Review, troubleshoot, debug, and improve historical systems to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing electronic components and products.
- Reduce the time to market for new features.
- Improve response times for addressing failures and bugs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Professional experience in embedded systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming with C or C++.
- Experience troubleshooting embedded systems.
- Familiarity with common embedded systems communication protocols.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Ability to focus on completing tasks.
- Experience working in organisations with ISO9001 quality management systems.
