Our client, an established building integration company, is currently recruiting a Graduate Electrician Design Engineer to join their driven Design team. The Graduate Electrician Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design and growth of building network infrastructure in the UK.
Responsibilities for the Graduate Electrician Design Engineer
- The Graduate Engineer will be given the opportunity to help 'own' design projects from inception through to operation
- Assist in the design of medium to large scale low carbon energy systems, heat distribution networks, controls, plant-rooms, thermal storage and fuel storage.
- Provide regular on and off-site evaluation to ensure design compliance during the construction phase.
Key Skills & Experience for the Graduate Electrician Design Engineer
Essential
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical Design Experience with good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides, and all-round good practice
- Knowledge of LV Distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms and detection, protection, standby power supplies, earthing (Desired)
- Full Driving License
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
