Salary: £40,000 to £47,000 + Pension + Overtime + Bonus to 5%Working hours: Annualised Hours Contract, working shifts, flexible working hours to match customer demand, however, typically might be:

Off-peak (summer & autumn period generally) - Monday-Friday, double-day shift, 0600-1400 & 1400-2200

Peak periods (winter & spring generally) - Monday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts, 4-days on / 4 days off, 0600-1800, 1800-0600The Company

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The jobholder will work on a rotating three shift pattern and be responsible for strong / clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. The ideal candidate will come from a fast moving automated background should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served electrical engineer with a strong multi-skilled pedigree with continuous improvement and PPM experience. If you have worked on PLC controlled machinery it would be advantageous. On a day to day basis, you will work with extruder machinery, conveyors, fillers, wrappers, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
