  • The role is based in Hazlehead (S36) but may require irregular travel to other UK sites.

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They are looking for someone with an Electrical bias, with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights (12 hour shifts: 6.00am 6.00pm / 6.00pm 6.00am)

Salary: £46,548 including shift allowance.

This role is based at Hazlehead (S36), with possible irregular travel to other sites across the UK.

Responsibilities:

To undertake electrical engineering activities and assist in planned, unplanned and improvement work, in line with equipment and schedule attainment, taking into consideration any legal requirements
Supporting shift engineers to maintain plant and equipment, customer service and required OEE
Maintain PPM schedule attainment
Maintain plant and equipment OEEs
Pro-active / re-active monitoring
To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards
To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
To participate in all training programs including the training of others
Drive continuous improvement across site
Be involved with project work as and when required

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, OR an ONC Electrical qualification, OR HNC Electrical qualification, OR atime served multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong technical and electrical knowledge in automated assembly systems
Process the ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.
