Electrical Team Leader Position Available.
12 hour Days
42,000 per year
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen.
- Improve site performance and reliability.
- Plan labour and material requirements for plant needs.
- Delegate activities of Team Members and contractors.
- Undertake Technician role as required.
- Carry out PPM inspections.
- Coordinate and supervise other services and contractors.
- Deputise for 1st Line engineering management.
- Write and review risk assessments, method statements, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety instructions.
- Use the Maintenance management system for maintenance activities.
- A customer-focused attitude with an understanding - Manage the permitting system for the department.
- Undertake training to learn new skills.
- Involvement in plant improvement projects.
- Respond to breakdowns under own initiative.
- Deliver business communications to the team.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
- Plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems such as:AC & DC circuits,Hydraulic systems,Pumps, drives, gearboxes,Robotics and PLCs
- Self-starting driven individual capable of leading a small team.
- Ability to work with cross-functional groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
