Inspire Resourcing are seeking a CAD Design Engineer for our client in Sheffield. The CAD Design Engineer is responsible for staying up to date with new advancements in CAD software and work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering and wider team to deliver excellence to our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- CAD/CAM: Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Process Improvement
- Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery
- Contribute to digitalisation initiatives aimed at integrating advanced technologies into manufacturing processes to improve data management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design changes, process improvements, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (experience with Autodesk orother packages isbeneficial).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Desired:
- Apprenticeship training or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Driving licence
- Salary package DOE 28-38K
