Elevation Recruitment Group’s HR Division is delighted to be partnering with a reputable financial services organisation in Sheffield City Centre to recruit an Interim Senior HR Business Partner. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to shaping HR strategy and aligning it with business objectives.As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to integrate HR strategies into the business, ensuring alignment with current and future objectives. You’ll also play a key role in driving cultural change and championing  Company initiatives including Wellbeing, Development and EDI.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership of non-complex ER cases, providing support to managers where required
  • Collaborate with business areas to develop talent strategies, succession plans, and workforce planning to ensure the right people are in place to meet organisational needs
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, addressing workplace issues, conflicts, and grievances
  • Support managers with performance discussions and the implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary
  • Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction
  • Work alongside the reward team to ensure reward strategies align with overall business objectives
  • Partner with business leaders to drive cultural transformation and lead DE&I initiatives
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines, both internally and externally

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional who can make an immediate impact. You will have:

  • Significant generalist HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability management
  • Proficiency in HR systems and their application
  • Experience supporting and guiding line managers through change
  • Expertise in HR change management and organisational development
  • A track record of delivering HR and business-related projects
