We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Team Lead to join a forward thinking, innovative Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Sheffield. Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the helpdesk team, ensuring efficient issue resolution
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Oversee daily operations of the helpdesk and maintain SLAs
- Provide hands-on technical support both remotely and onsite when required
- Manage ticketing systems and drive process improvements
- Assist with onboarding new clients and implementing IT solutions
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies
Requirements:
- Experience in an MSP environment is essential
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
- Experience with networking technologies (firewalls, switches, VPNs)
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus
