Summary:



Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Health and Safety Managers to join a successful business for their Logistics, Technical and Supply chain divisions based in South Yorkshire. You will be responsible you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business of Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety policies, processes and procedures, building on and developing current Management Processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and motivate the team to achieve best practice



Implement, review and manage health and safety policies and procedures



Ensuring Risk Assessments and safe working procedures are completed and reviewed within relevant timescales



Implement corrective actions following an incident or amendment to policies



Deliver health and safety training to requirements



Manage performance to achieve high levels of customer service



Uphold a continuous improvement mindset and attend meetings to discuss performance, plans and targets for the team

Key Skills/Experience:



Previous Health and Safety Management experience is essential



NEBOSH diploma or equivalent



Experience and knowledge of BRC Quality Management Systems plus strong auditing skills.



Good IT skills



Experience of creating and maintaining quality assurance accreditations (ISO14001/ISO5001/ ISO45001) is essential.



Strong leader, with excellent motivational skills
