Stafforce are working with this very well established metal manufacturer, based in Sheffield with over a century of expertise. We are supporting to grow the existing departments due to significant investment.

Duties include -

  • Upgrade/finishing of castings.
  • Removal of ceramic mould material
  • Removal of metal running, feeding and gating systems using hand tools i.e. grinders, burrs, abrasive belts
  • Prepare casting ready for the welding process based upon the results from NDT and CMM investigation.
  • Dress castings back to drawing tolerance and profile and record results accordingly.
  • Use of overhead crane and FLT

Skills required -

  • Ability to work to tight tolerance's with the ability to use measurement tools i.e. vernier, calipers, micrometres, depth gauges.
  • Use of overhead crane and FLT

Hours of work

37.5 hours per week - Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm / 2pm 10pm, Friday 5am - 1pm / 1pm - 9pm.
