Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

In this role you will:

* Develop, maintain and improve credit risk strategies to allow us to make high quality decisions for our customers driven by data.* Provide analysis to run credit portfolios within our agreed risk appetite.* Support growth in the business through the delivery of initiatives, supporting the design and roll-out of new lending products or enhancing existing product features.* Assess the expected impact of proposals to understand how they will perform over time.* Monitor strategies to ensure they are preforming as expected and changes have been implemented successfully and the expected impacts have been realised. *Ensure that the portfolio strategies and processes are aligned with the appropriate regulations and regulator guidance.* Ensure adherence to Group and Regional policy and FIM requirements, providing timely MI and insight into the performance of different portfolios and delivery of key Global/Regional Risk initiatives.* Work with business partners to find solutions to deliver systemic solutions to emerging business risks and priorities.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* An analytical thought process, with excellent quantitative analysis skills is essential.* Ability to draw conclusions based on analytic results, and present complex concepts tailored to the audience is crucial.* Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail is key.* Ability to prioritise competing demands. * Experience of coding, and analysing data using software packages such as SQL, SAS, Python, Looker, BigQuery is essential.* Experience of Senior Stakeholder management is essential.* An understanding of consumer lending products especially mortgages and credit risk.

This role is based in Sheffield, Hybrid.
