- Take full responsibility for the defined customer, part, or contract as assigned by the business.
- Communicate regularly with customers, including organizing visits and performance reviews to strengthen relationships.
- Plan and manage raw material requirements, including internal raw material processing (billet conversion).
- Oversee and manage customer schedules and address variations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with internal departments to prioritize customer delivery requirements and ensure strategic goals are met.
- Track and report performance metrics such as lead time, cost, on-time delivery (OTD), quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to initiate and implement cost-saving projects.
- Ensure data integrity in the ERP system and establish throughput targets for production departments.
- Manage major customer or order projects from inception to completion.
- Expedite production as necessary, escalating issues when required to meet customer expectations.
- Exceptionally clear and concise communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of planning requirements in production environments.
- IT literacy and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of metallurgy or engineering.
- Experience in management or supervisory roles.
- Competitive Salary: Circa £32,000 (DOE).
