Description
- Manage a growing portfolio of accounts clients, including main client contact
- Manage preparation of company accounts and tax returns
- Manage preparation of personal tax returns
- Manage preparation of VAT returns
- Other client services such as management accounts, forecasting
- Training team members
- Aid the senior management team in improving processes
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant Manager should have:
- Senior or assistant manager with 5+ years of accounting experience
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Proven experience in a similar role within professional services
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Good Written and Technical Skills
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £40000 - £45,000
- Flexible working around core hours (10.30am - 4.00pm)
- Holiday entitlement of 31 holiday days per year including bank holidays
