Accounts Manager Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales & purchase ledger
Bank reconciliations
Cashbook and Banking
Nominal ledger reconciliations
Journals, accruals and prepayments
Ensure all VAT returns are submitted promptly and on time
Conduct all BACS payments
Responsible for all weekly and monthly payroll for perm and temporary staff

Required Skills & Experience:

Accounting qualifications preferred, or time served in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles & practices
IT literate including Excel and Sage
Good organisational skills, time management and attention to deal
