Corporate Tax Senior Manager - up to £85k - Sheffield

The Role

A highly progressive, regional firm of accounts is seeking an ambitious qualified tax professional for the role of Corporate Tax Senior Manager.

You will be part of a successful and dynamic senior management team, taking a lead role in the delivery of corporate tax solutions to a highly varied client portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be qualified CTA or ACCA/ACA and have strong l tax compliance and advisory experience in the OMB sector, including:

  • Provide bespoke tax planning and solutions to a wide range of clients
  • Advising business owners on a variety of tax matters
  • Manage a wide variety of corporate advisory matters as required, eg; disposals, acquisitions, reorganisations and share buybacks
  • Identify suitable potential new clients and attend meetings with prospective clients
  • Network to develop business relationships with banks and solicitors and other key referrers
  • Support businesses on company restructuring
  • Review of corporate tax compliance
  • Prepare and submit R&D Claims
  • Provide technical updates to colleagues
  • Work closely with other divisional heads and Partners, ensuring all tax opportunities and maximised and delivered across the entire client base

Skills and Qualities

The firm would like to consider applications from Chartered Tax qualified applicants who have experience working for a National or leading independent firm of accountants within either a Manager role and looking to take on the next stage of their career or a current Senior Manager who is seeking opportunities with a leading business providing wide scope for further development.

Individuals must have developed a solid base of complex tax advisory experience within a corporate tax environment.
