Your new companyHays Finance are working with a construction company based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Your new roleAs Finance Business Partner, you will be working with a number of different portfolios of work in core, none core and third party and be responsible for working with the Finance Manager and Assistant Management Accountant on the preparation of Management Accounts as well as ensuring the Commercial and Operations team are achieving full financial optimisation. Duties include;

  • Reviewing key financial data in both core and non-core businesses
  • Collate and summarise information across the finance, commercial and operations team and providing overview analysis to finance and non-financial managers
  • Support Commercial and Operations Managers during external audits
  • Work with the commercial and operations to manage internal financial controls, processes and procedures
  • Support with analysis required resulting from M&A Activity
  • Identify areas of improvement across the business
  • Influence non-financial stakeholders with influencing skills
  • Manage the accounts apprentice

What you'll need to succeed

  • An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA)
  • Experience in Management Accounts
  • Stakeholder Management and influencing skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and experience using SAP would be preferable.
