My client is currently looking for a Finance Business Partner where you will play a key role in driving forward successful decision making.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing a clear view of business performance, driving forward successful decision making, and ensuring monthly accounts production for operation and construction areas of the contract. Your ability to form working relationships with operations and commercial colleagues will be instrumental in influencing key decisions. This role offers an exciting blend of strategic planning and hands-on finance work.

  • Work closely with senior management including operations and commercial colleagues to drive effective decision making
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Ensure correct cost allocation across contract works
  • Analyse scheme profitability and cost variances, including reconciliations of salaries, fleet and material costs
  • Prepare business budgets and forecasts and manage actual performance against the latest budget/forecast
  • Report WIP and other Balance Sheet reconciliations as required
  • Support in producing the contract cash forecast
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors

The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role brings significant post-qualification experience along with ACCA/CIMA qualifications. You have extensive experience in business forecasting and modelling, coupled with highly developed communication skills. Your ability to form working relationships with operations and commercial colleagues has been instrumental in driving effective decision making in previous roles.
